As human expressions of stardust, we embody the cosmos.
The cycles and spirals within us mirror those of Mother Earth.
Our healing unfolds hand-in-hand with hers.
As an ecological artist, I illuminate (extra)ordinary natural wonders through fluid roles:
Choreographer of contemplative pathways,
Composter of overripe paradigms,
Curator of ecosensory creativity
for restorative evolutionary reciprocity.
Publications & Artistic Partnerships
The unfolding of Aurily LLC continually shows me that attuning to synchronies between inner and outer worlds allows us to nourish ourselves and our communities. From my local library to Olympic National Park, I have been fortunate to cross paths with truly inspiring artists, and I wholeheartedly welcome proposals for future collaborations. Here is a sampling of creative projects to which I have recently contributed:
Migrations and Home: The Elements of Place: A poetry anthology published by NatureCulture
Tilt: Arts & Culture Ecosystems (Volumes I & II): A multimedia magazine curated for WAABEL (Writers & Artists Balancing Everyday Life)
“Creative Storytelling for Hospital Patients: Philosophy, Theory, and Method:” A peer-reviewed article published in the journal Qualitative Psychology
“counterclockwise:” A poem displayed at the Ann Arbor Art Center for the 2024 PoetTreeTown Festival
“arboreal embrace:” A poem displayed at the Blake Transit Center for the 2023 PoetTreeTown Festival
Authors & Artists Rewilding Festival 2023: Poetry dedicated to the Writing the Land initiative (my reading begins at 31 minutes)
the Sound of Seeds: A poetry collection published by Charing Cross Press
“Bedside Audio Storytelling for Hospital Patients:” A peer-reviewed research paper published in The Journal of Humanities in Rehabilitation
